Unified Command Course
Course Description:
Join the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and Seminole County Fire Department for a free Unified Command Course. We welcome fire service personnel holding the rank of Lieutenant or above from neighboring agencies and jurisdictions to attend. Register today to reserve your seat.
The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Seminole County Fire Department and Seminole County Emergency Management, will conduct a Unified Command Class.
The class will cover multidiscipline, all hazards Incident Command System (ICS) training.
The training is based largely upon standing up Unified Command during critical events and utilizing the Active Threat Response process.
This is done in a simulated dispatch, semi-tabletop, and fully interactive classroom atmosphere giving students the opportunities to experience all levels of the ICS and Unified Command positions as applied in Seminole County.
