Description: The Rope Rescue Technician Level course is an advanced, hands-on Level II training program designed for rescuers who have completed the Rope Rescue Operations Level. This course focuses on high-angle rescue and recovery, emphasizing advanced rope system design, anchor construction, raising and lowering techniques, Stokes basket operations, high-line systems, pick-off maneuvers, knot passing, and rope theory. Participants will refine their troubleshooting skills and practice complex rescues that prioritize safety, system redundancy, and efficient victim movement in challenging environments. The curriculum meets and exceeds NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670 standards for Rope Rescue Technician, preparing students for real-world technical rescue operations.
