Battalion Chief Jaynes serves as the lead instructor for all rope courses, and has been with the Seminole County Fire Department for twenty years. Chief Jaynes is an integral part of the department’s Special Hazards & Operations Team, and served for many years on the specialty team at various fire stations.

He is the FEMA USAR Search / Rescue Manager for Florida Task Force 4 and is USAR certified in Heavy Equipment Rigging, Large Animal, Water Rescue. Lt. Jaynes is the lead instructor for all rope rescue courses.

He is also part of the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Alert 1 helicopter team. Chief Jaynes has completed the Advanced manufacturer level courses In Artificial High Directionals and arborist rescue.
