Lieutenant Paul Seiferth is the Seminole County Fire Department’s most veteran instructor at the Training Center, with 18 years of experience teaching nearly every discipline in fire training. With nearly 25 years of service at SCFD, he has dedicated much of his career to hazardous materials (HazMat) instruction and response. Lt. Seiferth is currently assigned to Squad 2 at Station 35.

For more than a decade, Lt. Seiferth has also shared his expertise as an instructor at the International HazMat Symposium in Daytona, Florida. A 20-year member of SCFD’s Special Hazards & Operations Team, he has played a key role in establishing the department’s reputation as one of the state’s premier all-hazards fire departments.
